Welcome to Body In Balance

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is an all-natural, non-invasive health care choice based on the premise that good health depends, upon a fully functional nervous system. Your nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) controls and co-ordinates every cell, tissue and organ in your body. Any interference to this system caused by slight misalignments in the spine (subluxations) is a common problem with potentially serious repercussions to your health.

Subluxations unbalance your body, promote fatigue, lower your resistance to disease and depress your body's ability to heal itself. Chiropractors locate subluxations using various orthopaedic and neurological tests, postural assessment, range of motion (flexibility) and often x-rays.

Chiropractors correct subluxations by applying a specific corrective force to your spine known as an adjustment. Adjustments therefore remove any interference to the nervous system. The adjustment is applied to any one of the 24 moveable vertebrae that make up your spine using either the hands or the Activator. The Activator is a hand-held instrument which produced a small measurable vibration force to the spine and is used according to your preference or the Chiropractors advice.

Chiropractic promotes biomechanical balance and an uninterrupted nervous system allowing your body to function at 100%25 and you to get the most out of life. Which is why so many people see a Chiropractor regularly to keep their spine healthy! For more information look under Free Services for details of our chiropractic information evenings.
